MINDFULNESS IN EVERYDAY LIFE

In this workshop, you will learn how to integrate mindfulness into your everyday life and thus achieve more inner peace and serenity. We will perform various yoga exercises together to help you reduce stress and relax. We place particular emphasis on correct breathing and posture in order to achieve an optimal effect.

Mindfulness can be thought of as a muscle that you can train. By practicing mindfulness exercises regularly, you can strengthen this "mindfulness muscle" and thereby achieve a better quality of life, increased focus and lower stress levels.

Mindfulness is a central concept in Buddhism and means consciously focusing on the present moment and perceiving it without judgment. In the workshop, we will also look at how mindfulness has developed from Buddhism into our Western world and what significance it has in our society today. We will look at various aspects of mind fulness, such as compassion, non-violence and balance, and also consider the psychological and neurological perspective.
